I am the blue sea and the marine fauna lover, Jalal Ali Hamdan, born in Palestine in 18/09/1964 in a small city named Biet Hanoun, located at the north of Gaza Strip. I did my BSc in the Al najah university in nablous 1991.
My Master degree was in june 1997 in "spacial distribution of meiofauna in three sandy beaches in Gandia (Golf of Valencia- Mediterranean sea)" in the university of Valencia,Spain,and now I am doing my PhD in marine biology.

My interests

I am palestinan studient of Ph.D, now I am working on my Ph.D. at the Marine Biology Laboratory of the University of Valencia. I'm working on the temporal and spatial distribution of meiofaunal communities and its relationships with the environment physico-chemical parameters in estuariene and marine ecosystems of sandy beaches. The main interest of my work is to study the free-living marine nematodes- copepods in different environments and its relationships with pollution, where I am using meiofaunal community structure to assess the impact of mixed sewage water disposal.
